Privacy Policy
Effective October 12, 2026 · Finally Inc
The short version
- Your company's data belongs to your company. We use it to run Finally for you, and nothing else.
- We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
- Each customer's data is kept separate from every other customer's, down to the database.
- The field app uses location only at the moment a worker checks in to a job.
- Questions or requests go to [email protected].
Who we are
Finally Inc ("Finally," "we," "us") makes Finally, an operating system for integrated facilities management. This policy covers our website, finallyops.com, and the Finally web platform and field app (together, "the Service"). Finally Inc is a Delaware corporation based in Williamstown, New Jersey.
Two kinds of information
Customer data. Companies that use Finally ("customers") put their own operating information into it: clients, sites, work orders, schedules, invoices, staff records, photos, checklists and similar records. For customer data, we act on the customer's behalf and follow their instructions. If you're an employee, subcontractor or client of one of our customers, that company decides what is collected about you, and you can make requests to them directly or to us.
Information we handle for ourselves. This covers visitors to our website, people who contact us, and the account details we need to run and secure the Service.
What we collect
- Account details: name, work email, role and company. Passwords are stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form we can't read. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
- Work records you or your company enter: everything described under customer data above.
- Field app activity: check-in times, QR code scans, photos and checklist entries tied to jobs, plus an identifier for the device so work saved offline can sync safely.
- Location: when a worker checks in to a job, the field app reads the phone's location once to confirm they're at the site. It does not track location in the background or between jobs. A phone's own settings can turn this off.
- Security records: sign-in times, failed sign-in attempts and a log of important actions, used to protect accounts and to give customers an audit trail.
- Messages to us: anything you send to our email addresses.
Our website does not use advertising trackers. The Service uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in.
How we use it
- To provide the Service: running schedules, work orders, the field app, client portals, reports and alerts.
- To keep it secure: preventing unauthorized access, detecting misuse and keeping audit records.
- To support customers and answer questions.
- To send service emails, such as account approvals, invitations, password resets and client reports a customer chooses to send.
- To improve the Service, using information about how features are used.
- To meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share information only with companies that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit how they may use it:
- Cloud hosting and database providers
- File storage for photos and documents
- Email delivery
- Google, if you choose to sign in with Google
If Finally adds AI features that process customer data, we'll use providers that do not train their models on that data, and we'll update this policy before those features are turned on. We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of the company, in which case this policy continues to apply.
How we protect it
Each customer's data is separated at the database level, so one company can never see another's records. Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited by role, sensitive values like door codes are encrypted when stored, and important actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we design Finally so that a single mistake can't expose one customer's data to another.
How long we keep it
We keep customer data for as long as the customer's account is active, and delete or return it after the account ends, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Website inquiries are kept as long as needed to respond and follow up.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. If your information is in Finally because of your employer or another customer, we'll work with that company to handle your request. We won't treat you differently for making a request.
Children
Finally is a business tool and is not meant for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell customers directly about significant changes.
